Vince McMahon & WWE under DOJ Investigation: Rap and Sex Trafficking case paused

The horrific sex and rape trafficking allegation against forme WWE boss Vince McMahon would not have their day in court thanks to Department of Justice.

In a sealed filing the US Attorney office for Southern District of New York gifted material to federal court for investigation they have opened into disgraced McMahon World Wrestling Entertainment and WWE ex head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis.

The US Attorney office of Empire State Southern District declined to comment or offer guidance when contacted by Deadline today.

However five months later Jamel Grant filed her allegations against McMahon, WWE and others her attorney confirms the DOJ’s long anticipated move is important enough to stop initial case in tracks for time being.

“We remain confident the evidence will prove Ms Grants allegations are false and her complaint is noting more than a fabricated vindictive narrative from disgruntled former girlfriend”.

Grant and McMahon agreed to $3 million payout in 2022 to keep her allegations about McMahon from becoming public.

That included an NDA. The plaintiff held up her end of deal Grant suits says but McMahon has only paid her $1 million so fat.

Grant is seeking to have NDA invalidated among other measures

Pair of days after issuing vehement denials of Grant accusations, McMahon cut his last leadership ties with WWE parent company TKO Group on January 27.

A steep fall from McMahon pivotal role overseeing the Septement 2023 merger of wrestling organization with UFC in $21.4 billion combo that created TKO where McMahon became Executive Chairman.

Following some sales of McMahon own beforehand. TKO agreed in April to buy a combined $311.2 million of cacophonous exec stock.

The former ‘Today’ co host has written new book, ‘I want to Matter: Your Life is Too Short and Too Precious too Waste.

Kathie Lee Gifford was surprised when Howard Stern called to apologize.

“Today” past co anchor has written new book title “I want to matter: Your life is too short and too precious to waste.

In book she discussed the power of forgiveness and how it ended  a decades long feud with shock jock.

The bad blood first boiled in 1995 after Gifford has chosen to sing national anthem at Super Bowl XXIX.

Her husband NFL star Frank Gifford would be hosting live telecast.

According to book Gifford heard booing as she sang. The Star Spangled Banner.

” It was surprise to get voicemail from Howard Stern” the 70  year old recalled to media.

“Once I listened to it I said to my kids at the table, “Well pigs have now officially flown. I just always believe God can touch anybody heart.I a m not permitted to hate anybody that hates me. Once you start praying for people you can hate them. Love can not live where hate does it is a very simple thing.”

“As you grow in your faith you learn, I have got to pray for that person right now. What they just said was so horrible” Gifford told. “Just pray Ask God to heal them because hurt people hurt people.It is truth.

Gifford soon learned that Stern had asked his fans to boo Gifford when she was introduce on stage.

Gifford expressed the experience as completely surreal as she never met Stern nor listened to his radio show.

Everything change after years when Stern was guest on “Today” to declare he was joining the judging panel at America Got Talent”

“The Lord said ‘Kathie go down and say hello to him and wish him well with show” said Gifford. “And I said. ‘Ok Lord ‘ I got up out of my hair and makeup room. Those girls had been told Do not let Kathie go anywhere near studio. I could not care less I go downstairs. They go.”

“He is very very tall and I was in my little flats coming in from Connecticut. Gifford add.

There were so many people that day he brings quite entourage.I said. Hey its Kathie Lee I thought it was about time I said I want to wish you all the best with new show. I got up went back sat down in the makeup room.

They said “why would you do that”?

Gifford was hopping  on a plane to attend her son graduation at USC. She get a phone call. There was no caller ID. It was stern.

“He left a voicemail and he adds. I can not even use language that he used. Gifford adds. “It was lot of F-words but he was saying. ‘I can not believe how nice you were to me. I have been so rude to you and you were so nice. I just need to apologize to you Please call me”.

Not knowing how to reach Stern back. Gifford did not return his call.

“We are having dinner and I see no caller ID. Gifford adds. “I said ‘That is him. My husband and son did not desire me to take that call. He was horrible to me and horrendous to my family. I would never met the man never until that day never listened to his show or anything like that.”

Gifford adds she had private chat with Stern where he asked me to forgive him.

Gifford said I can find something good in anybody. That is what my faith teaches me.

Liv Morgan continues with newly won Women World Championship reign following this week Raw thanks to Dominik Mysterio and she had surprise gift in store for him by end of the show.

In main event of recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Liv Morgan c defeated Becky Lynch in Steel Cage Match by escaping the cage to retain her title.

This happened after intentional interference from Dominik.

Various storylines ran alongside this match including Braun Strowman chasing down JD McDonagh for weeks.

On Raw Strowman beated McDonagh in match after the fight Carlito, McDonagh  and Finn Balor attacked Strowman.

During championship match between Morgan, Dominik and Lynch appeared and he opened the door trying to assist Becky escape structure and become new champion.

McDonagh and Balor arrived at scene as they tried to keep Mysterio from interfering on Becky behalf. Strowman came out and chasing McDonagh he slammed the cage door on Becky head allowing Morgan to escape the cage.

To take revenge Strowman then started chasing McDonagh all over arena throughout show. In one situation McDonagh was seen talking to Liv Morgan in back of arena before Strowman scared him away.

Liv Morgan won women world title on Saturday night by beating Becky Lynch at Saudi Arabia premium live event from Jeddah Superdome in Jeddah.

On night Dom flew to Saudi only to prevent morgan from winning the belt.

He finally assisted Morgan to capitalize by throwing a steel chair in the ring. Following the kiss on Raw alliance should grow between Morgan and Dom in coming days.

Following match Morgan reached to Mysterio on ramp and planted a kiss on his lip. He tried to sell it as if he was not interested while Morgan was in smile afterward.

Bitcoin BTC $67, 842 dipped 2% on May 28 after wallets labeled as belonging to collapsed crypto exchange Mt.Gox moved 107,547 BTC almost $7.3 billion to unknown wallet with over transactions coming in by hour.

Blockchain tracking X account Whale Alert posted the moves in May 28 X posts, noting six on chain transaction of between 3,999 BTC and 32,499 BTC within hours.

The move is ahead of defunct crypto exchange plan to return BTC holding to creditor before October.

More than $9.4 billion Bitcoin is owed to some of Mt.Gox’s 127,000 creditors who have waited to get it back for more than 10 years after exchange collapsed in 2014 after various unnoticed hacks

Mt Gox final repayment deadline is Oct 31.Its trustee started contacting creditors in January to confirm their identity and exchange accounts for repayment.

Blockchain explorer Arkham Intelligence shows the transaction hashes from 1:41 am to 4:45 am UTC include transfer from Mt. Gox cold wallets with moving 2000 BTC at a time.

All transactions pointed to single unlabeled address that holds 107, 547 BTC nearly $7.29 billion.
