In the days before his death his girlfriend of two year 25 year old Cassidy had joined him on trip to Argentina and couple had been documenting their trip together online.

In a video shared on his Snapchat profile Payne can be view sitting at the hotel breakfast table joking with Cassidy about leaving her hat on the table.

“Its a lovely day here in Argentina” he said in video.

Officials are investigating the circumstances surrounding Payned death Buenos Aires police said in a statement he died after he fell from hotel balcony on third floor.

Emergency services director Alberto Crescenti told media that Payne had suffered injuries and an autopsy will be carried out.

The star body has been moved to a morgue in city.

Police in Buenos Aires told on Thursday that inspection of scene where Payne fell has carried out on hotel ground floor.

They told that a bottle of whiskey a lighter and cell phone were found.

“Everything indicates that musician was alone when the fall happened” and that he had died at scene and there were no injuries  suggest a third party had been involved.”
