Scott Peterson mistress Amber Frey testified against him in his trial for the killing of his spouse Laci Peterson and unborn son Conner.
Frey went on to play a key role in Peterson trial testifying for various days against him and sharing details of their affair.
Working with the police Frey recorded their phone chat in which he lied to Frey about his location and what he was doing.

Where is Frey now?
Frey has continued to live in Fresno Calif with her daughter Ayiana and son Justin. In 2005 Frey released her book Witness in which she write her experience as main role for Peterson trial.
She has continued her job as a massage therapist and is an ambassador for Bucked up a pre workout drink.
She revealed that Peterson did not make any try to contact her from prison sinche his sentencing and that she would found closure outside of the case with no regrets of speaking out.
“It has changed my life. My children as far as normal. I guess you would say. I do not regret anything. As crazy as it sounds I would do it all over again. It was not about me. there is a missing woman carrying a child. If i had something to say that would help.”
How did Frey meet Peterson?
Frey detailed how she and Peterson were first meet up by Frey best mate Shawn Sibley in her 2005 book, Witness:For the Prosecution of Scott Peterson.
In first chapter Frey said she met Peterson on Nov 20,2002 at Elephant Bar in Fresno Calif a few weeks after Sibley met him at convention in Anaheim Calif.
Frey recalled how as a single mother one daughter she was searching to settle down and was under the impression of Peterson desired the same thing after Sibley told he was searching for committed relationship.

What did Frey testify in Peterson murder trial?
In summer of 2003 Frey took the stand as main witness in the prosecution case. 12 hours of recorded chat between her and Peterson were played for the jury with lawyers later showing that was the most credible evidence submitted.
In November 2004 Peterson was found guilty of the killing of his wife and unborn son and was sentenced to death row. In 2021 he was resentenced to life in prison without chance of parole.
Frey has maintained Peterson guilt since his conviction despite the convicted murderer seeking a new trial based on the claim that one of the judde was unjustly picked.
In December 2022 a judge denied Peterson the trial.
In January 2024 the LA Innocence Project took up Peterson case claiming there was new evidence that help his claims of innocence.
