Nikola Jokic scored 34 points and Michael Porter Jr added 24 as Denver Nuggets used strong second half to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers 127-102 on Saturday night.

Austin Reaves scored 19 points and LeBron James added 18 for the Lakers who lost consecutive home matches after starting the season 7-0 at home.

Rui Hachimura back in lineup after missed five matches with left ankle sprain scored 10 points in 22 minutes.

Russell Westbrook had 14 points 11 assists and seven rebounds for Denver against former team.

Nuggets host New York Knicks on Monday and Lakers visit Phoenix to open a road back to back.

Denver trailed by six points at halftime but outscored Los Angeles 37-15 in third quarter and 70-39 for second half while dominating inside and outside.

The Lakers led 63-57 at halftime and let match get away from them in a third quarter.

It shows they have much work to do to get out from Denver control.

Nuggets even in playing on second of back to back and traveling Denver still had the legs for long range shots.

Denver was 16 for 32 on 3 pointers.

The Nuggets outscored the Lakers 20-4 in paint in third quarter Jokic had nine points in third in which denver score 37 points.

Gabe Vincent performance is more pathetic. I am giving him grade D.

JJ Redick should play Max Christie who has more impactful player.

LeBron James

34 minutes, 1-1 Ft, +12 2-43Pt, 9-14FY, 3 blocks, 13 assists 12 rebounds 21 points.

I am giving him Grade A.

It was slow start for LeBron but he made it up in second half and controlled the match.

He is good in defense both on board and rejecting a pair of shots.

Austin Reaves

He  earns a grade A.

30 minutes, 6 rebounds, 20 points 7 assists, 1 block 7-13 FG, 6-10 3PT, +14

It was nice to view Reaves who entered the games shooting 6-29 from range in last four matches.

There is consistency problem in his game.

This game cane against Sixers team but it was lethal game for Lakers
