During first hour of “Good Morning America Ashton colleagues gave network chief medical correspondent and GMA3 what you nee to know co host a heartfelt goodbye Thursday morning.

Google has taken steps to block ads for e commerce sites that use Polyfill.io service after Chinese company acquired the domain and modified the Javascript library to redirect users to scam and malicious sites.

Polyfill is famous library that incorporates help for functions in web browsers. China based content delivery network CDN company Funnull.

Over 110,000 sites that embed the library  are affected by supply chain attack. Sansec add in Tuesday report.

The development urges web infrastructure providers Fastly and Cloudflare to offer other endpoints to assist users move away from polyfill.jo.

The original creator of the project Andrew Betts said website owners to remove it urgently no website today requires any of polyfills in the polyfill .jo library.

Most features add to web platform are adopted by mega browsers with few exceptions that can not be polyfilled anyway like Web Bluetooth and Web Serial.

Such an attack occur if underlying third party is compromised or changes the code being served to end users in bad method causing  all websites using tool to be compromised.

The code has protection against reverse engineering and only activates on special mobile devices at special hours.

It does not activate when it detects an admin user. it delays execution when web analytics services is found presumably not end up in stats.

The window to file a claim against Bleacher Report in a class action settlement is open.

Bleacher Report agreed to a $4.8 million payout to consumers with accounts between January 25, 2021 and May 21, 2024 without admitting.

The lawsuit originally filed in January 2023 alleged that sport news shared user information with Facebook without consent in violation of the Video Privacy Protection Act.

The agreement has been preliminarily approved by Eleventh Judicial Circuit for Miami Dade County but must go in front of bench for final approval on August 8.

Can a customer object to the settlement?

A customer can object to or remove themselves from the settlement. Both actions must be taken by July 9.

In order to object to settlement a class member must file a brief with Eleventh Judicial Circuit fro Miami Dade County and send copy to class counsel before July 9.

If consumer removes themselves from settlement or does not file a claim before deadline they will get nothing from the payout.

When must a Bachelor Report Customer submit a claim?

In order to be included in settlement an affected Bleacher Report consumer submit a claim by August 23. Claimants will get equal share of payout.

300 types of canned coffee products distributed nationwide across various coffee roasters and retailers are being recalled.

According to US Food and Drug Administration Snapchill LLC a Wisconsin based company is recalling all of its canned coffee products within expiration date because they learned the company manufacturing method could lead a potential danger from food poisoning.

According to US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Botulism is rare but severe illness that can cause breathing problem, muscle paralysis, and death.

The FDA adds symptoms can start from 6 hours to two weeks after eating food that contains the toxin.

The recall alert states manufacturing method could lead to growth and production of deadly toxin, botulinum toxin in low acid canned foods.

The recalled products were sold under range of roaster and brand names and in variety of metal can sizes ranging from 7 oz to 12 oz.

Impact products either be destroyed or returned to snapchill or place of purchase for a refunds report the FDA.

The FDA adds that no illnesses have reported as result of recalled products that Snapchill is not aware of any products containing the toxin.

According to the FDA the canned products were distributed nationwide through dozens of coffee roaster and retail shops including several in Raleigh areas and Charlotte:

The symptoms of botulism may include following: slurred speech, drooping eyelids,difficulty swallowing, breathing, blurred vision, dry mouth, muscle weakness.

These symptoms result from muscle paralysis caused by toxin.If untreated the disease may progress and symptoms may worsen to cause paralysis of muscle, including those used in breathing and those in legs, arms and body from neck to pelvis area.

Anyone who has consume any recalled product and developed signs of botulism poisoning should seek medical attention according to US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention CDC.

In foodborne botulism symptoms start 18 to 36 hours after eating contaminated food. Symptoms can start as soon as 6 hours or up to 10 days later.

The manufacturer Snapchill had error in their documentation with FDA. As a result any products in stock that manufactured have to be destroyed a Summit Coffee team member who said their recalled drinks were only used for events. IT is super unfortunate they have indicated that they are offering entire product refunds. There are other coffee companies that are more impacted than we are.

Con Edison, utility workers reach tentative deal averting strike:con edison contract negotiation

After several negotiations UWUA Local 1-2 has tentatively agreed to terms of new 4 year collective agreement with Con Edison averting a strike.

The tentative deal was reached Sunday morining and revealed by union on its social media.

The new deal includes higher wages for utility workers an enhanced medical plan with minimum increases and rapid wage increases.

Their current contract expired at midnight.

The talks were held at hotel in White Plains.

The tentative deal now goes before utility workers for vote to ratify the agreement. That should happen in coming days.

Its a relief for millions of New York citizens who could have impacted. Union representative Michael Pena and avoiding strike was crucial during this heat wave.

This agreement reflects the hard work and dedication of both parties to get an agreement that benefits all, This agreement would not be possible without the unwavering support of the rank and file the union said in  a statement.

New tariffs introduced on EVs made in China Volvo is criticizing the EU decision adding it will only hurt buyers. Volvo suggested the US bound EX30 could come from Belgium as it looks to avoid newly introduced tariffs.

Michigan officials have intervened as DTE Energy attempt to change how some consumers get refunds after power outages.
