Better expected battery life. You can get same play time on regular Accentum for $50 less. Small design refinements and more step up in terms of audio quality and ANC performance would have mega impact.

The Sennheiser Smart Control app offers features for Accentum Plus as does for the Accentum. Battery percentage is at top.You can adjust a 5 band EQ, select a prebuilt sound preset or make own.

The company offer sound personalization calibrates the audio based on response to few samples in the app.

On ANC control disable automatic adaptive adjustment to Accentum Plus noise cancellation and leave regular noise cancellation on.

You can cycle between ANC and transparency mode with double tap on right ear cup. action does not allow you to active any preferred blends. Turns on full ANC or complete transparency.

Sennheiser Sound Zones are here giving you ability to configure specific audio setting based on location.

You can generate 20 these for places like work, home and more. You have to give the app permission to track your location which could be a nonstarter for some users.

Call Quality

The Accentum Plus is fine for calls. The audio quality is not pristin it passable for most uses.

You can choose to have headphones switch to transparency mode when you take a call. Accentum Plus does not pipe in your voice So overall studio is not natural as more costly options like the AirPods Max.

ANC performance

Sennheiser says Accentum Plus has hybrid adaptive ANC where Accentum just hydrid ANC.

The mean Plus model adjust to change in enviromental noise while regular mode has one level of blocking ability.

The overall ANC performance is good in circumstances it is far from what you get on the best that Bose, Sony have to offer.

Sound quality

Sennheiser earbuds and headphones have offered superb sound quality among all the products. The company has well tuned audio profile that is dynamic.

Walmart agrees to pay $70 Disability Discrimination

Walmart will pay $70,000 and furnish reliefs to settle a disability discrimination lawsuit filed by US EEOC the federal agency declared on March 7, 2024.

The EEOC charge that Walmart violated ADA when it revoked permission from employee with disability to use store electric carts as reasonable accommodation for disability forcing him to take unpaid leave.

According to EEOC lawsuit after hiring Quinones whoe use a prosthetic leg Walmart accommodated Quinones by permitting him to use one of store electric carts to perform some of his job duties.

Seven months later Walmart told Quinones he was no longer able to use cart claiming that store electric carts were for consumer use only though employees were allowed to use carts to accommodate temporary injuries.

Walmart failed to offer reasonable accommodation that allowed Quinones to continue working Walmart placed him on indefinite unpaid leave.

Walmart agreed to offer Quinones a job at one of its South Carolina locations. 2 year consent decree settling the suit enjoins company from failing to provide reasonable accommodation to individual with disabilities related to walking and standing at store in Aiken.

The decree limited exception enjoin Walmart from eliminating existing reasonable accommodation for individual without identifying alternative that allows employee to remain in position except in circumstances.

Walmart will required to conduct annual training for salaried employee at affected store post an employee notice, submit compliance reports to the EEOC.

Alleged conduct violated the ADA which protect individuals with disabilities from workplace discrimination and requires that employees provide reasonable workplace accommodations.

The EEOC filed suit in US District Court for the District of South Carolina Aike Division after first try to reach pre litigation settlement through its admin council process.

 

Google brings all its Nest Cam features to Google Home for Web

You in near future will be able to view recorded videos, event, download clips and timelines from Google Nest cams through web browser.

The company says it is bringing the feature to generate custom clips from recorde footage both on web and in app, bringing the full functionality of its Nest cameras to its own platform.

This feature will require a Nest Aware subscription starting at $8 a month.

Google has open up that in upcoming days Nest Cam user will finally able to download and view recorded clips and scroll through their event timeline on new home.google.com web portal.

You can able to view live streams from here if you desire to see what happened earlier you need to go to Google Home app.

Older Nest Cam users could see live and recorded footage at home.nest.com you can see a live view in Google interface.

You could still access the Nest app or Google Home app to view clips and downloads them.

Google first said in 2021 to bring a web view to its camera in 2021 but it didnot happen.

China mega copper smelter met in Beijing on Wednesday agreeing on cut in loss making production without timing and volumes.

Shortages have led to competition for mined copper concentrates causing a decrease in income for smelters to decade low levels.

High copper prices could dampen demand in consumer China as can be view in inventories.

Copper inventory in warehouse monitored by SHFE climb to 239,245 tonnes at March 8 from 30,905 tonnes in start of year.

Global copper smelters were not working in first 2 months of year than in same period last year because of Chinese inactivity date from satellite surveilance of metal processing plants showed.

2024 Pitchfork Music Festival Lineup features Alanis Morissette and Carley Rae Jepsen

The 2024 festival at Union Park in Chicago will feature Jamie XX, Black Pumasm 100 Gecs, MUNA.

The festival returns to Union Park from Friday July 19 through Sunday July 21.

Jespen, Jamie XX and Jessie Ware will perform on Saturday. De La Soul, Unwound and Wednesday will play that day.

The festival will close on Sunday with a remarkable performance from Morissette, the Canadian American songwriter famous for 1995 hit album jagged little pill.

Bridgerton season 4 is slated for release on May 16 followed by second part on June 13.

This season will stress on Penelope Fatherington and Colin Bridgertons arc as they navigate through friends turned lovers romance.

Bailey will comeback to 4th instalment of the Regency series and reprise his role as eldest son of the Bridgerton house, Anthony Bridgerton.

The controversial pop up stalls on Conventry Road will returning here is everything you need.

Buzzing atmosphere and mega crowds travelling across the UK to attend markets have garnered criticism traffic congestion, mass littering have slammed by local residents.

What time do they start?

There are no opening time as they unregulated stalls. They come to life Iftar time and can last until 4am or when Sehri starts according to local residents.

What date do they open?

The markets open during Islamic month of Ramadan which changes according to Islamic calendar.

It is open but it is starting of Ramadan which is March 10 or 11 this year.

How long are they open for?

They are their busiest throughout the month of Ramadan some residents claim stalls will set up throughout year.

Why have they get so much criticism?

The markets are good for food influencers and vloggers Muslims across the UK local residents have blasted the market escalating anti social behaviour, street vendors, noise pollution and heavy traffic congestion.

What can you buy?

There is array of street food including BBQ meals, desserts and burgers. You can find clothes, trainers, household items. Vendors will trade on pavement or from car boots.

Is it family friendly?

Crowd from UK visit stalls making it busy and congested experience. Market stalls are unlicensed which West Midlands Police and Trading Standards did attempt to investigate last year.

Coventry Road Small Health is located just off the A45. The markets can found around Cyril Road and Whitmore Road they can stretch further down. Street vendors set up on pavements.
