It has been three weeks and since strong wind hits Houston destroying Houston and businesses and leaving many without power for several days.

Centrepoint workers has been busy to restore  power after strong back to back storms across the Houston area.

Centre Point Executive VP of Regulatory Service and Government Affairs Jason Ryan said

“I think this storm that hit  on May 16 shows that we can be ready even on no notice for hurricane type event and restore service to consumers as rapidly as possible.

Crews are still working on repairs.

“Things like temporary transmission structures were put up where there was transmission structure damage we need to go back in and replace with permanent structures.

All that works could take months and comes with high price and consumers will finally help  pay that bill.

“We do not have final estimate right now for range cost”

“It will be at least $100 million of costs”

There are multiple choices the company can make in terms of trying to get reimbursement.One is reimbursement as a line item on bill some years ago was  done as a surcharge,

CentrePoint told media that they have not exact final cost because they are still waiting for the bill for out of town and out of state crews who were brought in to restore power.

This year eight food and beverage products among 108 recalled by FDA from January 1 May 31 caused harm or disease to one customer.

Applications for Minnesota new e bike rebate program opens on Wednesday offering up to $1,500 per purchase.

Depending on income, discount is 50% to 75% of purchaser qualifying expenses.

The rebate value can not exceed the price of e bike.

The latest program is designed to decrease cost of new e bike from eligible retailers initiating on July 1.

Applications will be accepted as 11 am. Wednesday through Minnesota Department of Revenue.

An online portal opened for retailers to apply to be eligible retailer for program on May 1.

The program permits up to  $2 million annually in rebates to be claimed in 2024 and 2025.

The state says it will stop accepting application once it gets 10,000.

The department of revenue website has built in calculator to estimate how much your rebate will be.

The potential of machining debris inside engines of 2022 and 2023 Toyota Tundra pickups and Lexus LS luxury SUVs triggered a recall of 102,000 models.

The problem cause engine knocking, rough running or prevent motor from starting.

Toyota revealed the recall Thursday and said engines might contain machining debris from manufacturing process which could cause loss of engine power that raises risk of accident.

Toyota owners can call Toyota brand Engagement Center at 800-331-4331 to learn more.

The 102,000 recalled vehicles were sold in U.S.

The vehicles were powered by Toyota current generation V35A-FTS twin turbocharged V-6.
