Shania Twain express she would never sing again after Lyme disease destroy her vocal cords

The global country music legend 58 first contracted disease in 2003 when she was bitten by tick after going horseback riding doctor could bot figure out what was making her illness and stopping her from singing.

Lyme disease is bacterial infection that can spread to humans by infected ticks. 500,000 people are diagnosed and treated with it in US.

10-20 percent have long debilitating symptoms.

“But I could not change it” she turned to another one of her skills which was songwriting.

Finally she found a doctor who trace out what was going on with her health. He operated on her vocal cords and it worked.

Twain made her return to stage after 10 years with her record breaking Las Vegas residency.

Twain has over 100 million records and is best selling female artist in country music of all time.

She came on to scene in mid 1990 and is famous for hit “That Dont Impress Me Much” and “Man I Feel Like a Woman”

She had career comeback Harry Styles at Coachella in 2022 and will headline the Glastonbury Festival on Pyramid stage this summer.
