After confessing to domestic violence against his estranged wife, Gillian Hogg, Stuart Hogg, the former captain of the Scotland rugby union team, was given a year of supervision under a community payback order.
The abuse occurred in several places, including Hawick in the Scottish Borders, and lasted for five years, from 2019 to 2024.
