Following an experiment with a September date, the eagerly awaited Detroit Auto Show Charity Preview event returned to the well-known month of January.

The glitzy event, which took place at Huntington Place on a snowy evening, attracted some 6,000 guests who were decked up in dresses, tuxedos, and sparkling jewellery.
