3 Indians in ICC Player of Month nominees for September after Asia Cup 2025

A couple of Indian player  made it to ICC Men player of the Month nominees for September 2025 following their heroics as Men in blue won 2025 Asia Cup.

Abhisek Sharma World No 1 T20  batter earned a nomination ace spinner Kuldeep Yadav made it to list after rising as leading wicket take in tournament.

Zimbabwe mindblowing batter Brian Bennett impressed with the bat scoring 497 runs across T20 with strike rate of 165.66.

After becoming the leading run scorer in series against  Sri Lanka and Namibia  he continued his purple patch in  regional Africa T20 World Cup final returning with scores of  111, 65 and 72.

His attempt with bat assisted Zimbabwe earned a place in 2026 T20 World Cup.

Kuldeep Yadav display an excellent bowling performance as he continued to destroy  opposition team.

The left arm spinner gained 17 wickets in 7 innings.

The UP Born player comeback with figures of 4/7 against UAE in opening match.

The 30 year old reached nine places to 12th in latest ICC T20 rankings.

He finished with another 4 for 30 in final.

Abishek sharma performed well with bat by providing team with mindblowing start.

The south smashed 314 runs in seven T20 with help of three half centuries at rate of 200 strike rate.

The 25 year old earned player of the tournament for his exploits in T20 tournament.

The Punjab batter gained his top place in ranking chart breaking SKY and Kohli record for highest rating in latest ICC T20 rankings.

India Smriti Mandhana nominated for ICC Women Player of Month for September 2025.

India Vice Captain Smriti Mandhana gained a nomination for ICC Women Player of Month of September 2025,

The left handed batter scored 308 runs in four ODIs at average of 77  strike rate of 135 against Australia last month.

 

“He will perform in the final” Parthiv Patel’s stunning claim on Team India star ahead of IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025 final

Former Wicket keeper batter Parthiv Patel made a mega claim on Team India Star and Skipper Surya Kumar Yadav before Asia Cup 2025 final.

The Men in Blue will face Pakistan in Dubai on Sunday September 28.

Surya Kumar Yadav has not been at his best form so far in Asia Cup.

In five innings he has score only 71 runs at an average of 23.66 and strike rate of 107.57.

Parthiv reckoned that Surya will deliver in final against Pakistan.

“I do not think the way our mindset is it will be matter of concern. May be if one player does not do it someonel els will. We have such players.

Suryakumar Yadav has not had ideal tournament but he will perform in final.

Sanju Samson is batting at different position and even he did well in past match. Shivam Dube has performed a bit Axar batted well We have all bases covered.”

He revealed about batting middle order it would not be a matter of concerns Barring Abishek Sharma who has score 309 runs as opener none of batter have score 150 runs.

In the previous outing against Sri Lanka Tilak Varma scored 49 on 34 balls Sanju Samson score 39 and Axar made 21 runs on 15 balls.

These are positive signs for india before going into final.

 

India have to work on their catching saying Parthiv Patel

“Our ground fielding is a bit questionable. We left multiple catches in England as well.

This is one area where Indie need to work a bit.

We have dominated despite dropping multiple catches but had we taken them the result would be scary and no team would be anywhere close to us.

So india definitely has to work on this ” he said.

 

Suryakumar Yadav and his troops would be eager to put up improved display  as far as catching is concerned in final.
