Bitcoin drops below $50,000 for the first time since February

Cryptocurrencies amid global market sell off spurred by recession danger.

The price of bitcoin down over 13% on Monday to $50,963.57 according to Coin Metrics.

At one point it down to $49,111.10 its lowest level and first time under $50,000 since February.

Crypto stocks were among hit in premarket trading. Coinbase took a 13% dip. MicroStrategy slid nearly 17% Mining stocks double digit losses too.

The move follow a broader market sell off that start last week when a weaker than anticipated July jobs report renewed investors fear of a recession.

Japan stocks entered a bear market Monday after plunging over 12% overnight its worst one day sell since 1987.

Bitcoin has lost almost 18% since Saturday. A week before on July 20 it climbed as high as $69.982.

Ether losses were even steeper. The crypto asset dropped 17% to $2,271.21 bringing its three day loss to 24% and erasing its 2024 again.

Tiktokers mimick shark tank pitchers instead of big investment they ask for small favors like a snack or a trip to a concert.

It is easy to involve in fad.

All you need is a small bunch of friends to form a circle or line and repeat the phrase just give me my money in a funny voice.

Everyone involved int the video says the phrase and get and enthusiastic round of applause from others.

Except things go awry when it comes to one participant that is not involved in the prank. and they say the line everyone else involves has awkward reply and does not appreciated.

Franklin was reported dead through social media post shared by friends and gospel music insiders on Facebook on Saturday August 3rd 2024.

Shaun  Martin was reported dead Saturday night through social media posts.

The top post on Facebook by Brianna Parker read “Well I now Know what it means to mess up the city” when you leave this earth.

He did not mess up the city with this one he messed up the world.

He had been battling health issues in latest years with reports that he suffered a  stroke. His family never confirmed what are illness.

Martin was legendary musician and he would be remembered for his impressive discography.

His death is massive blow to music world.

Shaun Martin was born on August 23, 1978 in Dallas Texas. He started learning the piano when he was only 4 years old as he was tutored in classical music and jazz.

He picked up gospel  music from attending church with his mother every sunday.

Shaun Martin was married to Monica Wilson Martin with whom he shares son Harlem.

Martin journey toward greatness start when he formed a partnership with legendary gospel musician Kirk Franklin while only in High School, He began working as Franklins choir director.

Shaun Martin was member of the jazz fusion brand Snarky Puppy started by bassist Micheal League a fellow university of North Texas alum in 2004.

The group has performed with legendary star including Justin Timberlake, Michael McDonald. Snoop Dogg, Kirk Franklin.

Saint Lucia Carnival Queen Shah Lucien is new Miss Jaycees Queen Lucien won the title at the annual pageant in Antigua on evening on Wednesday July 31, 2024.

The pageant feature eleven delegates representing Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica the British Virgin Islands, Grenada the US Virgin Islands, St Kitts, Nevis, Guadeloupe, Guyana and Haiti.

The event is part of Antigua carnival celebration on its 61th year.

On June 29, 2024 Lucien won the National Carnival Pageant here in Saint Lucia.

Following her win in Antigua Saint Lucia’s Carnival organizers have congratulated Lucien via social media platforms.

Week long road closures in effect for Artscape in Baltimore

With Artscape kicking off this Friday the Baltimore City Department of Transportation is advising drivers to be aware of road closures and parking restrictions.

Modifications take effect in Mount Vernon, Charles North , Bolton Hill and Station North Arts District on Monday at 7 am,

Travelers are encouraged to download the Waze app for live detour navigation.

Once the road closures are implemented motorists will be rerouted to change routes are directed by Baltimore City Police BPD. Transportation Enforcement Officers TEOs signs and electronic message boards.

According to DOT travelers should pay close attention to posted parking limitation throughout duration of week.

Artscape is America mega free festival showcasing Charm City since 1982. According to Artscape its start as an Arts Fair marketing Baltimore as a cultural hub for draw community help and economic development and investment in area.

Residents, visitor and students are encouraged to plan for road closure using change routes below.

CrowdStrike the cybersecurity firm crashed millions of computers with a botched update across globe past week is offering its partners a $10 Uber Eat gift card as an apology

On Tuesday a firm received an email from CrowdStrike offering them gift card because company recognizes the additional work that July 19 incident has caused.

And for that we send our heartfelt thanks and apologies for inconvenience.

The email was sent from CrowdStrike email address in name of Daniel Bernard the company chief business officer.

On Friday CrowdStrike released a faulty update that rendered around 8.5 million windows devices unusable according to Microsoft.

The news caused the affected computers to be stuck at infamous blue screen of death or BSOD a bright blue error screen with text that shown when Windows crashes.

The outage caused delay at airports in Amsterdam, Berlin, London and Dubai and across the US. It caused several hospitals to halt surgery and paralyzed numerous businesses across globe.

The company published apologies from its CEO George Kurtz as well as its Chief Security officer Shawn Henry.

The outage start on Friday CrowdStrike has published updates on its efforts to trace what is reason of mega outage.
