“This has been the best year of his career with the bat” Aakash Chopra praises Ravindra Jadeja’s century in IND vs WI 2025 1st Test

Ex India Player Aakash Chopra has praised Jadeja for proving his worth as all rounder specially with the bat in first Test agains the West Indies. He said that 2025 has been the best year with the bat in 36 year old career.

“He never had any problems against spin. His game improved overseas when he started playing well against  fast bowling. Spin was never challenge for him and this spin was, unfortunately posing very little challenge in any cast.

Sir Jadeja now has seven 50 plus score in Test this year.

This has been best year of his career with the bat he said.

” It was an enjoyable century. The way he increased the scoring rate was commendable. The way he kept hitting sixes after going down the wicket was praiseworthy, He used his feat very well. The dominance was seen in entire innings he added.

Jadeja scored an unbeaten 144 of  176 deliveries as India ended Day 2 of the first Test against West Indies in Ahmedabad on Friday October 3 at  448/5 in first innings.

The host have 286 score lead moving into next day sundar 9 unbeaten.

“It his sixth century and he has score almost 4000 runs.

He is slightly underrated but in my opinion he is world No ! Test All rounder. No one comes near to him. He needed to use his feet as he knew he would use rough to get batter out as left arm spinner himself the former india spinner said.

Akash said that 2025 was weakest year for the Ravindra Jadeja with the ball .He had only seven wicket in this year so far.
