Quaker recalls granola bars, cereals over salmonella exposure
Quaker Canada is recalling 38 types of granola bars and Harvest Crunch cereals due to the potential exposure to salmonella.This action is being taken in Canada out of abundance of commitment and caution to the wellbeing of our Canadian customers"Quaker canada told to media. The company expressed the recalled products have been sold across Canada. The company said it is working closely with Canadian Food Inspection Agency to ensure the recalled products are removed from the shops. Quaker Canada cautioned people to not buy use the recalled product. In another the Canadian government told food contaminated with salmonella may not look to smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Quaker Oats U.S. parent company which is owned by PepsiCo, declared a product recall on Dec 15, 202 3. Thursday release was an expansion of that recall, the U.S. FDA said on its website.
