Vikings Sign Defensive Lineman James Lynch and release Joejuan Williams
James Lynch is return in action and back with the Vikings. A 4th round pick by the Vikings in the 2020 NFL Draft, Lynch hit free agency this March when his rookie contract expired. Lynch has appeared in 37 matches with 3 starts. Her has totaled 53 tackles 31 solo 4 tackles for loss, 2 sack and fumble recovery. To make room on offseason roster the Vikings released veteran cornerback Joejuan Williams who appeared in 2 matches for Minnesota in 2023. Lynch 4th season ended before had chance to begin due to knee injury suffered during training camp last August.
