One of Seattle mega annual food festival starts this weekend featuring live music, fun activities and more than 250 food retail vendors.

The Bite of Seattle famous as The Bite is free three day event at the Seattle Center where anyone can come and involve in a variety of local food and drinks.

The Bite of Seattle started in 1982 and this year starts the 42nd annual festival with exception of pandemic time cancellations.

New festival organizer FoodieLand anticipates about 450,000 persons who can enter the festival grounds for free from Friday to Sunday but pay for food once ther payment and cash card will be accepted.

Bite of Seattle’s returns to Seattle Center this weekend under new ownership featuring about 250 food and drink vendors and over 60 musical acts.

Alan Silverman owner of Seattle area restaurant Barnaby joined with local restaurant owners that were struggling with impact of Reagan era recession.

Upon Approval from mayor Charles Royer the first event was held at Green Lake Park and seeing 75,000 visitors.

Over 65 artists are set to perform across three various stages set up around the venue.

The food vendor lineup is too long. The diverse selection of all kinds of fried food to sweat meats to sugary snacks.

The large line of vendors as more than 450,00 people are expected.

The new store marks the second franchise under ownership of Douglas Keenum in Clarksville.

American restaurant chain Dickey Barbecue Pit has broadened its presence with launch of new outlet in Clarksville Tennessee.

The menu at new Clarksville location will feature a various hickory smoked meats and classic side dishes.

The new location at 2805 Fort Campbell Blvd Ste C marks second franchise under ownership of Douglas Keenum in Clarksville.

In November 2023 Dickey Barbecue Pit reopened its overhauled restaurant in Tyler Texas

Located at 1501 W SW Loop 323 the revamped restaurant venue was opened under new ownership.

The Tyle location was taken by Dickey owner and operator Douglas Edwards and his pit crew.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit CEO Laura Read Dickey said “We are confident that Doug his crew and brand new Dickey store are going to bring legit barbecue and lasting memories to great people of Clarksville.
