Schlafly’s Stout & Oyster Festival returns March 8-9 in Maplewood

Calling all stout and oyster lovers. Local beer legend Schlafly pairing its stouts with briny bivalves for annual Stout & Oyster Festival with dates on March 8 from 5 to 9 pm and March 9 from 11 am to 9 pm.

Over the weekend oyster shucker from both coast have multiple raw oysters ready at bars including Blue Points, Delaware Bay oysters and Totten Inlet, Chef Creek Oysters and Samish Bay, Fried oysters, Oysters Rockefeller and oyster chowder will be on hand.

Schlafly beers will available in 16 oz can including white lager just a bit hazy IPA Pale Ale and more in Schukerdome.

This year fest take place at Schlafly Bottleworks location in Maplewood Missouri where you have options when it comes to both stouts and oysters.

The brewery works with chefs and farmers from around the country overnighting over 50,000 oysters from coast and hosting 20 seasoned star shuckers to do thing on site all weekend.

The brewmasters at Schlafly concoct over 12 stouts exclusively for festival including stouts and specialties like Horseradish Stout, Tropical Stout, Export Stout, BA Imperial Coconut Stour and BA Imperial Pumpkin Stout.

A Kilderkin of Tabasco Oyster Stout will make appearance.

First Alert 4 Steve Harris was at festivities. The festival continues Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm. The event is free with no tickets required.Oysters are available until run out.
