Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani

I come with new special recipe of spicy Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani. This biryani gives an extraordinary taste full of chicken and basmati rice.This recipe is different from Pakistan and India biryani recipes.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups basmati rice
  • 800 gms whole chicken
  • 3 Tomatoes chopped
  • 3 onions sliced
  • 2 cups fresh yogurt
  • 5 green chillies
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp ginger paste
  • 2 tsp coriander seed
  • 1 tsp green cardamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • A pinch of safron
  • 1/2 garama masala powder
  • 1/2 fresh lemon juice
  • `1 cup fresh coriander leave seed
  • 2 tbsp mint leaves
  • 4 tbsp ghee
  • oil
  • salt

How to Make Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani

Step By Step

  • In a big bowl cut the pieces of chicken in large chunks wash and clean completely
  • Add masala paste,salt,red chilli powder,tumeric powder,corriander powder,lemon juice garam masala and yogurt
  • Add pieces of chicken and 2tsp oil
  • Keep this marinated chicken for 2-3 hours
  • Heat oil in a pan,fry onion and turn into golden brown color.Keep aside cool.
  • In a blender mix fried onion,chopped tomatoes,coriander leaves, mint leaves,ginger garlic,green chillies
  • Blend to made a smooth paste
  • Add safron in mik
  • Wash the rice
  • Boil the rice in huge amount of water add salt and garam masala
  • Rice are 3/4 done
  • Remove out the whole garam masala as they were of rice
  • Heat the pan or kadahi, add 2tbsp of ghee
  • Half marinated chicken place
  • cover the chicken with layer of rice
  • Sprinkle cardamon powder,chopped coriander,saffron and fried onions
  • Add remaining ghee

How to Make Hyderabadi Chicken Recipe at Home

  • First cut the chicken into huge chunks and wash with water
  • Add Lemon juice,coriander powder,tumeric powder,red chilli powder,salt, yogurt,ground masala paste
  • Add chicken in mixture and add 2 tsp oil
  • Put it for 3 hours so it is marinated
  • Heat oil fry onions until they turn brown so they cool down on room temperature
  • Soak safron in milk
  • Mix all the ingredients and blend all items
  • Now wash all rice and soak for 15 minutes
  • Boil the rice add salt and spice
  • Now remove all spices
  • Add 2tbspoon of ghee
  • Half of marinated chicken in pan
  • Layer of rice spray over chicken
  • Put fried onions,cardamon powder, coriander and saffron
  • Add ghee
  • Cover the bowl with lad
  • Cook at low heat for 30 minutes
  • Spread the fork
  • Serve in a tray
