There are few new categories at this year Golden Globes including one which known as box office achievement. The Last , The Crown and Succession are nominated in the TV categories. The Globe is the first mega ceremony of film awards seasons.

Are the Globes still controversial?
The company which was behind the Golden Globes, the HFPA caused controversy in 2021 due to corruption charges and lack of diversity within its voting body.
The HFPA was dissolved due to controversy and the event was sold to Dick Clark Productions and Eldridge Industries. Question raise whether the Globes would be permitted back into the Hollywood fold however stars returned to the show in 2023 as rumour of boycott failed.
