Amber Alert issued for abducted Weslaco teen suspect identified

An Amber Alert was issued late Thursday night for abducted 13 year old girl in Weslaco.

Esmeralda Mireles was last seen Thursday at around 3 am in area of 100 N. Kansas Avenue according to new release from police.

Mireles suffers from medical conditions the release added.

New release from Texas Department of Public Safety says law enforcement official believe Mireles is in grave to danger.

Mireles is described as being 5’6″ and has orange, reddish colored hair with mullet style haircut and weights 145 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.

The DPS news release say police are looking for 37 year old Luis Gomez a suspect wanted in connection with abduction.

Gomez last view driving in a 2001 Chervolet Sileverado with license plate number GCW9494.
