Magnitude 6 earthquake strike in Guatemala, El Salvador

A magnitude 6 earthquake strike the Southern Pacific coast of Guatemala late on Friday, the country INSIVUMESH seismological agency expressed. The earthquake jolt the Guatemala’s Escuintla region was also felt in neighboring El Salvador.

There were no reports of injuries or damages. The German Research Centre for Geosciences which measured the quake at magnitude 6.1 added it was a depth of 119km.

A 7 magnitude earthquake hit along the China Krgyzstan border on Tuesday injuring at least 3 people.More video shared by the state tv CCTV showed firemen entering a damaged building with cracked walls and police helping an injured local.

Local authorities dispatched a team to quake ecpicentre, Beijing Xinhua state news agency revealed. while some 800 people were on standby for any disaster relief mission.
