A magnitude 6 earthquake strike the Southern Pacific coast of Guatemala late on Friday, the country INSIVUMESH seismological agency expressed. The earthquake jolt the Guatemala’s Escuintla region was also felt in neighboring El Salvador.

There were no reports of injuries or damages. The German Research Centre for Geosciences which measured the quake at magnitude 6.1 added it was a depth of 119km.
