Phil Mattingly and Poppy Harlow Bid Farewell to CNN This Morning Crew in Final Show ‘We are Incredibly Proud’

Friday marked the end of current iteration of CNN This Morning with anchors Phil Mattingly and Poppy Harlow and they signed off by putting their crew center and front.

After showing some behind scenes of the control room crew members of the studio crew joined the anchors at new desk as Harlow thanked them.

CNN declared shakeup to morning schedule earlier this month which put a nail in coffin of morning show that Chris Lich launched as mega move at the CNN.

The current host of 6 am to 9 am slor Mattingly and Harlow will have new roles at network as anchor Kasie Hunt takes over a new shorter version of CNN This morning 5 am to 7 am.

CNN New will take over rest of morning from 7am to 10 am.

Mattingly expressed “Before we go a quick point of personal privilege as the folks we cover on capitol hill might say. The word privilege here i think is particularly apt because that is what it has been every day and night and morning to work with our extraordinary team here.

To our bookers, writers, editors, APs, PAs producers you are the soul and heart of something for which we are incredibly proud.

Your immeasurable talents have infused every show.Your good humor, smiles have filed every morning.

Harlow In some remarkable way I m the problem here. You guys have seemed to manage to keep me mainly me on time in right place at right time. No surprise Phil is early all time and Im running in at the last minute.

Seriously guys we would literally be nowhere without you.
