The former world No 1 Yevgeny Kafelnikov opened up about Carlos Alcaraz and Janik sinner domination in tennis world.

Saying on the status of tennis community he said that duo might rule the sport for a long period.

Alcaraz and sinner are center of attention of 2025 tennis season considering their performance in majors .

The duo have faced each other in finals of major tournament this year so far.

Spaniard winning four of them.

The most recent match was US open where world No 1 dominated the final.

“It all depends on them but as I see it now. Carloz Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will rule for a very long time.

Neither Alexander Zevrev and Novak Djokovic . Unfortunately Novak is physically worn out and he knows it.

When playing at Grand Slams with best of three sets it is very difficult for him to compete with young guns. Sinner and Alcaraz who are at peak of their powers”

In 2024 and 2025 season Alcaraz and sinner have completed in 8 grand slams  and head to head stands equal to 4.

In July 2025 Carlos Alcaraz spoke with Gazzetta where he told about his bond with his on court rival Jannik Sinner announcing that they were good mates he said they share  a great relation off the field.

“Tennis is special sport that allows you to be great rivals on court and at same time to respect each other.

Sinner and I are good friend we can talk about lot of things off field i have great respcet for him he is nice person.
