The summit will take place at Joint Base Elmedorf Richardson in Anchorage a military installation established before World War II and spanning over 13000 acres.
Trump is schedule to arrive in Alaska on August 15 after flying across US aboar Air Force One.

Ex US President Donald Trump has compared his upcoming Alaska Summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin to chess game warning that there is 25% chance the taks could fail to advance peace negotiation over war in Ukraine.
Trump said he hopes one one meeting will pave the way for second session involving Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky aimed at brokering peace deal.
This meeting sets up second meeting.
