Vice Media shutting down hundreds of jobs and vice website stop publishing

Vice Media plans to shut hundreds of jobs as its stops publishing on Vice.com. Mr Dixon expressed Vice plans to “partner with established media companies to distribute our digital content”

In May the firm filed for bankruptcy in the US and was bought by Fortress Investment Group.

Media companies including Los Angeles Times, Channel 4 and Business Insider have also cut jobs this year.

The company continue to sell the business Mr Dixon told.

Mr Dixon said Vice plans to ” partner with established media companies to distribute our digital content”

“Regrettably this mean that we will be decreasing our workforce eliminating hundred positions.”
