Benedict Oramah, President of the African Export Import Bank Afreximbank on Monday in Cario get the Forbes Africa Magazine 2023 Person of The Year Award.

On November 18, Oramah also get the Zike Prize in Professional Leadership at a galla in Lagos, Nigeria. He is the recipient of various awards for his contributions to the promotion of trade in Africa and various initiatives he has championed to drive intra African trade.

Under his leadership, Afreximbank has been leading sublime projects. The bank latest signed a $150 million trade finance agreement under the Ukraine Crisis Adjustment Trade Financing Programme for Africa with United Bank for Africa.
President Oramah was honoured with the Zik Prize in Professional Leadership in November.
