It is one of the mega weekend of the year for local hotels and restaurants. The Taste of Cincinnati begins on Saturday and runs through Memorial Day on Monday.
Taste of Cincinnati takes place on 5th Street between Main Streets and Elm.
- Saturday May 25, 11 am until 11 pm
- Sunday May 26, 11 am until 11 pm
- Monday May 27 11 am until 8 pm
Chacabanas will participate in Taste of Cincinnati for second consecutive year.
Over a half million person are expected to visit downtown to enjoy local restaurants, live music and food trucks.
One of 50+ businesses at this year Taste of Cincinnati will be Ortegas Dominican and Cuban inspired Chacabanas which will serve croquettes and Cuban sandwiches.
Taste of Cincinnati has been mega success for Helen Ortega’s restaurant which opened just some months before 2023 Taste of Cincinnati Ortega added the event assisted her get business of ground.
Attendees can get food and beverage from 85 vendors, from food trucks to brick and mortar restaurants.
Various dishes price range from $4 to $12.
Admission is free.
Various streets will be closed through 5 pm on Tuesday May 28.
- 5th street closed between Walnut Street and Columbia Parkway.
- Will reopen by 6 AM on Tuesday May 28th
- Sycamore Street closed between 6th street and 4th street
- Columbia parkway closed between Downtown and 6th street ramp
- Sentinel street closed
- Lawrence Street closed
- Broadway closed between 4th Street and 6th Street
- Broadway converted to temporary 2 way traffic pattern between 7th Street and 6th Street
