One of the “Top Trots” in Runners World Magazine and the Los Angeles Times, the O side Turkey Trot returns on Thanksgiving morning Thursday November 23.
A various traffic changes and closures have been declared before the 128th yearly YMCA Buffalo Niagra Turkey Trot, which held in downtown Buffalo on Thanksgiving morning.
The race competition begins at 9 am on Delaware avenue in North Buffalo, move towards Delaware, and finaly ends at Franklin and Niagara in Downtown Buffalo. The route will be shut to traffice from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.
Delaware Ave will have rolling closures and re openings during the YMCA Turkey.
Traffic will be shut on Delaware Avenue from Hertel Avenue to Comet Avenue b/w 5 am morning and 10 am morning, Franklin St. from Court St. to W. Mohawk St. from 5 am to 12 pm and on Pearl St. between West Mohawk St and Cout St. from 5 am morning to 12 pm.
According to the Virginia Beach Police Department Special Events Units various road will be between 6 am and 11 am for the race event.
