Pacific Power crews are responding to various outages caused by winter weather across its southern Oregon service area, affecting almost 1300 consumers.

Field crews are working to restore power in those area as soon as is safely possible given the chances on the ground the utility added.

Pacific Power encourage consumers to be prepared for outages and helps state and local emergency management organizations, recommending Oregonians have emergency plan for up to 3 days without services.

Pacific Power meteorology team has closely monitoring the crews and storm were on standby in southern Oregon and northern California with snow estimated through weekend.
