Since august 2020 Fortnite is back on ioS and its thrilling and engaging lot of changed in that period.

Following several years legal fight, speculations and launch of the Digital Markets Act DMA, Epic Games title has appeared on newly launched Epic Games Store on iOS and Android , the AltStore PAL third party platform.

The launch of the Epic Games Stroe give us a hint what possible following these regulation could be a moment for third party iOS marketplaces.

Four app store have been released since the EU March compliance date. AltStore PAL has less success. Mobivenation is B2B.Setapp Mobile is adding more app but remains in closed beta.Aptoide has not completely launched and only permit 500 additional users a day.

Android users across the world can take the advantage only EU iphone owners can download the store as result of DMA prying open Apple grip.

The Fortnite gameplay experience on iOS is excellent. The game runs brilliantly and there is no problem with the responsiveness of the screen controls, network connections or graphics.

The Epic Games stores is not the single method to reach the company titles. Users of AltStore PAL can download Fortnite, Sideswipe, Fall Guys and Rocket League Sideswipe.

Apple makes the installation of AltStore PAL on iOS. The marketplace then requires users to add sources which are URLs consisting of JSON files that has app metadata.

You add a link and get a list of apps from a developer.

For Epic Games it is easy as the store is included in AltStore PALs.

 The process of getting the Epic Games Store on Android is similar to iOS. The installation requires less steps but it requires 8 screen interactions.The gameplay was smooth and seamless.
Epic Games as a source all you need do is start a download and get cracking. the mega difference is the Epic Games Store is more elegant than AltStore PAL.
Epic Games Store will soon support Parental Controls that will enable guardians to restrict reach to age inappropriate titles and block spending.
Epic Games gave AltStore PAL a MegaGrant which made it free to use.AltStore PAL does not host developers app itself it does not take a cut of any downloads or eat into Epic profit.
Apple introduce new rules to take a slice of off platform sales which make third party app stores less attractive to developers.
The Fortnite Epic Games could achieve.If people flock to these third party app stores. It will acts  as danger to other developers.
