JD Souther, the singer and songwriter who co wrote songs with Eagles and Linda Ronstadt has died.
Souter died peacefully at his home in New Mexico
He was 78 year old.
No reason of death was given.

Souther was born in Detroit, Michigan on Nov 2, 1945 and raised in Amarillo, Texas.
After shifting to Los Angeles California in the late sixties he formed a partnership with Eagles Glenn Frey.
The couple making a music band Longbranch Pennywhistle that released a single eponymous album in 1970 for Jimy Bowen Amos Records.
