With Potential Tropical Cyclone 4 to bring heaving rain to Florida starting on Sunday various municipalities across the Bay Area have start opening sandbag locations.
Florida Governor Ron De Santis revealed a state of emergency on Thursday before thes storm as the Sunshine state is expected to get a foot of rain over next seven days.
Where can I get sandbags?
Citrus County sandbag locations
The sites will be staffed on Saturday from 8 am -5pm to assist residents
- Citrus County will have sandbags available at following location 24 hours a day seven days a week while supplies end

Bartow Sandbags
Sandbags are available at the Bartow Fire Station 110 E Church St until 7 pm on Friday and start from 7 am -7 pm on Saturday.
The bags can be filled at the Public works stie at 505 Mill Ave
Polk County sandbags
- Polk County sandbags are available at following Polk County locations on Saturday from 8am -5:30 pm.
- There is maximum of 10 sandbags will be provided to each household address to assist prevent water intrusion into the nome.

The city of Pinellas Park has one drive thru sandbag locations open from 9am to 7pm on Friday. Resident must show a water bill and valid driver license showing they are a resident of Pinellas Park in order to get their sandbags. Residents can get up to 10 sandbags each

Gulfport sandbags
- Sandbags will be available in Gulfport starting at noon on Friday at
- 49th Street Neighborhood Center 1617 49th Street South
- There is 10 bag limit and proof of residency is required
- Sandbag operation will resume on Saturday from 8am 6pm.
- They will be available starting at 8 am on Saturday.
Dunedin sandbags
Pre filled sandbags will be available at city of Dunedin Highlander Park parking lot 903 Michigan Blvd on Friday from 12 to 7 om or until last supplies.
Once the pre filled sandbags are gone sand and bags will be available
There is limit of 15 bags per resident or business owner. Sand sandbags and shovels are available at site.
Assistance will be provided for those with special needs.
