Godiva Festival 2024 will be officially start. The festival start on Friday July 5 and thousands are set to move to War Memorial Park to join in three day fun.

This year is 25th anniversary of festival and will see Paloma Faith headline the Saturday line up,

The Verve Richard Ashcroft on Friday night with Beverley Knight on Sunday.

What are the GODIVA Festival 2024 Opening Times?

  • Friday July 5-6pm to 10:30 pm
  • Saturday July 6-12pm to 10:30pm
  • Sunday July 7-12pm to 7pm

Last Entry to the Festival will be Permitted Until

  • Friday July 5-8:30pm
  • Saturday July 6-8:30pm
  • Sunday July 7-5:30pm

Tickets are available via Godiva Festival website.

Organiser adds there will be no re entry permitted on Friday July 5.

Organisers are stressing people not to bring items to Godiva Festival site.

People can bring food on site but it must be in bag that is not mega than A4 in size.

One bag per person is permitted. Camping Chairs are permitted on Saturday and Sunday but not on Friday.

Animals are not permitted within the festival site. Only qualified, registered and trained guide dogs are allowed on Site.

Those who need to bring assistance dog to even are being requested to contact organisers in advance.

This week marks return of Godiva Festival as it celebrates its 25th anniversary.

This mean revellers will be travelling to War Memorial Park.

It will be jam packed weekend with various people travelling from various areas so it is vital to ensure travel plans are in place for those visiting Coventry.

Drivers should permit extra time for journey this week.

  • Cromwell Lane road closure from 8pm to 5am until Friday July 12 for lining works.
  • Ringway lane 2 closure from 9am to 3pm until Tuesday July 9 for carriageway inspection
  • Sunway Grove road closure from 7:30 am to 4 pm until Tuesday July 16 for carriageway resurfacing.
  • Suvillvan Road road closure from 7:30am to 4pm until Thursday July 4 for carriageway resurfacing.
  • Earisdon Street lane closure from 7:30am to 4pm until Friday August 9 for ELN
  • Macauly Road road closure from 9am to 3pm until Friday. July 19 for footway construction.
  • Alderminster Road lane closure from 7:30 am to 4pm until Friday July 26 for footway reconstruction.
