The window to file a claim against Bleacher Report in a class action settlement is open.

Bleacher Report agreed to a $4.8 million payout to consumers with accounts between January 25, 2021 and May 21, 2024 without admitting.

The lawsuit originally filed in January 2023 alleged that sport news shared user information with Facebook without consent in violation of the Video Privacy Protection Act.

The agreement has been preliminarily approved by Eleventh Judicial Circuit for Miami Dade County but must go in front of bench for final approval on August 8.

Can a customer object to the settlement?

A customer can object to or remove themselves from the settlement. Both actions must be taken by July 9.

In order to object to settlement a class member must file a brief with Eleventh Judicial Circuit fro Miami Dade County and send copy to class counsel before July 9.

If consumer removes themselves from settlement or does not file a claim before deadline they will get nothing from the payout.

When must a Bachelor Report Customer submit a claim?

In order to be included in settlement an affected Bleacher Report consumer submit a claim by August 23. Claimants will get equal share of payout.

Customer can submit a claim through the settlement website.
