Albert Lea Fourth of July will be filled with festivities for all ages including various annual favorites from past years.

The July Jamboree will start on July 3 with food vendors set up in North Broadway parking lot from noon to 8 pm and mobile sign shop will start from 2 to 5 pm at Central Park.

Albert Lea Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Shari Sprague add organizers desire to highlight successes in this year parade and hope businesses or organization have successes this year will participate.

She add they have been working hard to get more bands lined up for this year parade.

The parade travels down Bridge Avenue and turns on to Fountain Street ending at Central Park at 7 pm.

Dariel will perform live at 112 on Broadway and at 9 pm there will be block party with DJ KB at Harold Bar.

The Bayside Water Ski Club have performance on Edgewater Bay at 1 pm and annual Fourth of July car show will be downtown from 2 to 6 pm on Broadway.

The Albert Lea Community Band will begin its performance at 8 pm at Fountain Lake Park Gazebo.

On the Fourth food vendors will continue in North Broadway lot and there will be cruises running on Pelican Breeze II at noon 4 pm and 9 pm.

The boat seats 55 is handicap accessible with on board restroom and is smoke free.

People can enjoy looking from wildlife that lake offers. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for ages 5 and under.

Fireworks will launched at dusk from new location this year on city property west of Blazing Star Landing Between Fountain and Albert Lea lakes.

On July 6 Albert Lea Farmers Market will open from 9 am to noon in North Broadway parking lot and market continues at fairgrounds from 9 am to 4 pm.

Food vendors continue in North Broadway lot from noon to 8 pm.

Boat parade will be on Fountain Lake at 3 pm.

An indoor concert wraps up night at Marion Ross Performing Arts Center at 7:30 pm. The flea market will run from 9 am to 4 pm Sunday.

Organizers said fireworks are moved from former location at City Beach to bring display into safety compliance with state code.

New location will be visible from different location around both Albert Lea lakes and Fountain.

Festivities continue July 5 with flea market from 9 am to 4 pm at Freeborn County.
