Bahraini rapper Flipperachi talks about FA9LA viral rise after Dhurandhar Akshaye Khanna scene why this could be breakthrough for Arabic song.

Long before Aditya Dhar Dhurandhar turned it into full blown moment in India, Bahrain based rapper Hussam Aseem aka Flipperachi had tasted virality with song FA9LA.
The song went viral when it came out in 2024 in Sri Lanka so i know the people find it easy to vibe with it and was expecting to have moment when the film came out he tells us.
FA9LA sonic DNA fusion of Arabic rap hip hop regional influence has widely credited for cross border appeal.
“I definitely was not expecting to blow up to this extent given that it is Arabic. DJ production brought together Indian Khaleeji and hip hop music in powerful union.
That assisted me write and perform in way that would resonate with anybody regardless of whethter they can understand lyrics” he says.
He is aware of what this moment means for Khaleeji rap.
“Moment like these open doors for entire scenes and genres to introduced to new parts of world and i think this moment is turning point in Arabic musice he says
And with his fanbase in India growing by day, Flipperachi hints that this may be the beginning
“My team is working on multiple performance and colloaboration”
For Flipperachi the Bollywood connection unfolded rapidly.
His team was approached by Dhurandhar makers who were the track energy belonged in movie.

“From that point the details were worked out and things moved quickly. The placement of the song and scene it was in powerful and it was orchestrated by everyone involved” he recalls.
The first time he watched the song play over Akshaye Khanna entry he knew something had clicked
“Seeing the scene for first time was surreal. He is a legend and it could not have worked out more. The response is getting is on another level he says.
Nothing prepared him for what happened once the Arabic hip hop banger was picturized on Akshay Khanna in scene that rewired audience reactions set off the kind of meme to reel explosion that only Indian internet culture can engineer.
“I m overwhelmed and grateful for all the love Fa9la has been getting everywhere but in india.
Its other level when people vibe to your song at this scale he says.
