The well-known Bollywood playback singer Mika Singh recently revealed a sweet story about showing up at Amitabh Bachchan’s Diwali party without an invitation. Mika, a self-described fan of the iconic actor, described the humorous episode that demonstrates his respect for Bachchan in an exclusive interview with Lallantop.
A Joking Joke by Daler Mehendi
Mika also recalled another amusing incident involving Daler Mehendi, another singer. At one point, Daler deceived Mika by claiming to be able to put him in touch with Amitabh Bachchan. “Daler said he would put me on the phone with Bachchan when he called.
After dialling a number, he introduced me to a person posing as the famous person. I got up out of deference, not even realising it was a joke.” Mika chuckled, relishing the experience of being tricked by a doppelgänger.
Gatecrashing the Diwali celebration was a daring move.
During the lavish Diwali festivities, Mika would visit Amitabh Bachchan’s home every year and be in awe of the festive décor. “I always wanted to be invited, and one year, I decided to act on it,” he said, making a daring decision.
I simply pulled in, took a few rounds, and drove out because I was driving my Hummer at the time. Even though I wasn’t invited, I was excited to take in the majesty,” Mika disclosed.
An Intimate Meeting with the Legend
In a sincere moment, Mika remembered an instance when Amitabh Bachchan personally came up to him during a photo session. “Mr. Bachchan enquired as to why I had ceased communicating with him.
He said he enjoyed receiving my messages and urged me to continue sending them. That experience really made me appreciate him more,” Mika said, obviously moved by Bachchan’s generosity.
The Musical Adventure of Mika
Mika Singh, who is best known for hits like “Rani Tu Main Raja,” “Chinta Ta Ta Chita Chita,” and “Pungi,” is still making waves in the music business. He recently provided the voiceover for Pushpa 2: The Rule’s title track, which also features the gifted Allu Arjun.
Support from Amitabh Bachchan
Additionally, Mika Singh recalled that Amitabh Bachchan had attended the muhurat celebration for one of his films, which he jokingly called a “flop.” Despite the movie’s demise, Bachchan was true to his word and showed there at exactly nine in the morning as scheduled.
Mika emphasised the iconic actor’s unwavering dedication by saying, “His support meant a great deal to me.”
In conclusion
In addition to expressing his respect for Amitabh Bachchan as a great actor, Mika Singh’s touching story highlights his function as a mentor and inspiration in the Bollywood industry.
These two celebrities’ friendship and mutual regard serve as an example of the support and camaraderie found in the entertainment industry.
