Two SSI checks are coming in November but none in December

Few Social Security recipient may be happy in November an additional check.

If you get Social Security there is nothing unusual about situations.

SSI recipients will not get check in following month December. SSI recipients faced same situation in August when they got two check and no SSI check in September.

By a quirk of the calendar those Social beneficiaries who also get supplementary security income SSI will get three checks in month of November two SSI payments in addition to monthly Social Security check government issued retirement income for those 62 and older.

November Social Security payment schedule

The Social Security Administration distribution schedules are online so you can use calendar for budgeting purpose.

Regular Social Security retirement benefits will be sent out on the SSA usual schedule.

Wednesday Nov 27 birth dates between 21st and 31st of month.

Wednesday Nov 20 Birth dates between 11th and 2oth of month.

Wednesday Nov 13 Birth dates between 1st and 10th of month.

What is SSI?

SSI provides payments to people with limited income who are 65 or older blind or those who have qualifying disability including kid with qualifying disability the SSA website tells.

For adults SSI is for those who do not earn more than $1,971 from work each month.

Why are SSI recipient getting two checks in November

The quirk in calendar happens in November because Supplemental Security Income SSI benefits additional payments beyond Social Security for those who little or non income and very restricted resources come out on first business day of each month.

The 2025 calendar is online and there will calendar quirks in coming year.

SSI recipients will get January 2025 payment on Dec 31, 2024. Then they get February 2025 payment on Jan 31, 2025 and March 2023 payment on Feb 28, 2025.

SSI beneficiaries will get no payment in month of March. In May 2025 they will get two payments but not in June.

SSI recipients will get November payment on Nov 1 but since Dec. 1 fall on sunday this year.

SSI payments for December will distributed on Friday Nov 29 according to SSA calendar.

Financial difficulties in drugstore retail sector have led to mega chain filing bankruptcy and closing hundreds of stores, other pharmacy retailers are closing stores but not filing Chapter 11 petitions.
The retailer identified 154 stores it planned to close but amount grew to over 800 stores by August.
The company filed for bankruptcy facing competition from CVS, Walgreens Boots Alliance, Costco, Walmart Mark Cuban CostPlus Drug Company for prescription business.
The mega retailer bankruptcy in past year was Rite Aid Chapter 11 filing on Oct. 15,2023 reject store leases and shut underperforming stores.

The company faced a civil lawsuit filed against it by Department of Justice in March 2023 alleging that it pharmacists incorrectly filled prescription contributing to opioid epidemic after they repeatedly filled prescription for controlled substances with obvious red flags.
Mega drugstore chain CVS in 2021 added it would shut 900 of its 9,900 stores to reduce costs and cut deficit closing 300 location each year in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Liam Payne a former member of boyband one direction has died after falling from window of a hotel in Buenos Aires according to police there. He was 31.

Buenos Aires police said that man from 14B Police Station went to hotel on Wednesday afternoon after getting a 911 call about an aggressive man who was under influence of drugs or alcohol.

The police statement did not identify that person as Payne.
