The 2024 Berrett Jackson Scottsdale auction begin this weekend. This event is full of vintage Automobilia, cars, Hot Laps and runs, Thrill Rides from Saturday January 20 through Sunday January 28 at the Westworld of Scottsdale. The rock bands foreigner and night range will perform at the stage for Barret Jackson opening Rock the Block presented by Arizona Lottery on Friday January 19 at WestWorld of Scottsdale.

The Renewable Fuels Association is hoping its concept Plug in Hybrid Electric Flex Fuel Vehicle PHEFFV will ba a stand out at 2024 Washingtion DC Auto Show.

RFA Senior Vice President of Industry Relations and Market Development Robert White is at the show and talks about the great story they have to tell there about the advantages of the PHEFFV in this episode of the Ethanol Report.

UB40 featuring Ali Campbell concert tonight in the MACC’s A&B Ampitheater and Yokouchi Pavilion has sold out. Demand for tickets start immediately upon the show declaration and continued up until reaching the venue capacity today.

For admission into the venue only valid tickets and print at home tickets issued by the MACC Box Officer will be accepted. No duplicates allowed, first entry with barcode scanned will be honored. This is a no re entry eve.

The MACC declares that ticket holders arrive early to avoid delays parking and accessing the venue. The MACC Box Office windows open at noon will call pickup.

Due to high demand for parking at the event it is recommended that patrons consider carpooling or using Lyft or Uber get to the concert. Parking in the main MACC lot is sold out. Parking in the UHMC paved across from the MACC will be available for $10 upon entry.

Today concert include Ekolu Gates open at 5 pm for ticket holders and concert begin at 6 30 pm.

Pawn Stars member Rick Harrison’s son Adam Harrison dies at the age of 39

Pawn Stars member Rick Harrison’s son Adam passed away on Friday. According to news outlet the deceased was 39 year old and died from an overdose. Adam had a brief job at the family run Gold and Silver Pawn Shop but did not appear on the show.

Besides Adam Rick has two other sons Corey with is wife Kim and Jake with his 2nd wife Tracy.

In a statement to Page Six, the Harrison family said ” Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss”.

Adam’s friends found out about his death earlier in Friday and are currently refusing to give details of his passings like where he was or how he overdosed.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the death and are not responding to any request for public comments.

Adam always avoided the spotlight whereas Corey can be view all over Rick Instagram Page and even appeared with his father on Pawn Stars Do America.

Navan set for morning inspection

Officials at Navan are hopeful that overnight spike in temperatures will permit for racing on the track on Saturday today afternoon.Precautionary inspection at 7 30 am today morning Saturday 20 January.

Following overnight frost the tack at Navan is unfit for racing, however the forecast is for temperatures to climb up to 6 degrees today and into tomorrow with the chance of light showers overnight.

“With that forecast we are optimistic that racing will go ahead. However due to the fact that we currently remain unfit for racing we will have a precautionary inspection at 7:30 am saturday to assess the situation.

Having spoken with Met Eireann, the forecast looks favourable withe temperatures already rising and likely to remain from 5-6 degrees overnight and into tomorrow. There is a chance of light rain overnight

Following another colid night last night with temperatures dropping to minus three degrees the track at Navan remains unfit for racing at the moment due to frost”. IHRB Clerk of the Course at Navan Paddy Graffin said.

Elizabeth Holmes banned from federal health programs for 90 years

Federal regulators declared Friday that convicted fraudster Elizabeth Holmes founder of the defunct blood testing company Theranos, has been banned from involving in federal health programs for 90 years a lifetime ban.

The Officer of Inspector General OIG for the Department of Health and Human Services, HHS viewed Holmes 2022 conviction for fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud as the reason for her ban.

“Accurate and dependable diagnostic testing technology is imperative to our public health infrastructure. Dals statement related to the reliability of these medical products can endanger the health of patients and snow distrust in our health care system.”HHS Inspector General Christi A Grimm said.

Holmes was sentenced to roughly 11 years in prison for lying to investors about the capabilities of her blood testing technology. Sentence was reduced by 2 years

Theranos Coo Ramesh Sunny Balwani with whom Holmes had a relationship with as they ran the company had been excluded from federal programs also for 90 years.

OIG exclusion from federal health care program means Holmes will not be eligible to get benefits through programs like Medicaid or Medicare. She will not be able to work for an entity that get federal health care funding apart from limited scenario.

The length of Holmes’s exclusion is based on the application of several aggravating factors including the length of time the acts were incarceration, committed and the amount of restitution ordered to be paid.
